I mean the R&S section specifically. If you come in from the main page it looks like insanity with some of the more surreal questions and running memes we got.

Do you think Y!A helpdesk people are prone to stomach ulcers?
Do you think they too are lured into posting here?

I think they had no idea what they were unleashing; sort of like opening the puzzle box in the movie," Hellraiser."

Now, they have a monster they can hardly manage, attracting more creatures by the hour.

I am willing to bet they had an idea of how it would be, but like most kitchen fires, it got way too big.
I won't believe the helpdesk folks get stomach ulcers till I see ads for Pepcid AC all over the place. We're entertained by this; I'm guessing they are too.
Your next question should be, "Who among you on R+S is a Y!A helpdesk technician?"

I don't think they meant it to be this combative, but they probably love it. How many people are there who log onto Y/A just for the R&S forum? It draws you in. You can easily spend big blocks of time here. I have to remind myself that I do have things to say on other subjects too, so I try to browse all open questions, not just R&S. This section draws the sincere, the nutty, and the sincerely nutty, which makes it easily the most entertaining forum. Especially when compared to Polls and Surveys, which is deathly dull, full of people trying to sound witty, but just sounding bored.

I'm pretty sure anyone in their right mind would have known this was coming. I'm sure they are lured into this forum. That's why I am here...all the time.

Although, sometimes I do like to visit other ones like Pets, because like you said it gives me a break from the insanity. Plus, I actually get thumbs up for my answers in other categories. In R&S I get A LOT of thumbs down.

I think it is just random mutation and natural selection. If you look at the religion pages in the other countries they don't look like this one.
