TRUST ME YOU DO NOT WANT TO GET YOUR NOSE PIERCED! I AM A WITNESS OF A FRIEND WHO GOT HER NOSE PIERCED. THE FIRST WEEK IT WAS OK, (DESPITE THE FACT THAT IT CAME OFF ALOT AND IT HURT) THEN A COUPLE DAYS LATER SHE GOT AN INFECTION AND SHE WENT TO THE HOSPITAL. THE DAY SHE WAS GOING TO GET OUT( AFTER 3 DAYS) THE INFECTION GOT SO HORRIBALE THAT SHE.......SHE..........LOST HER LIFE. SHE WAS ONE OF MY BEST FRIENDS.

No I have not, but use your best judgment. If the place is clean and if the piercer is helpful, informative and patient with you it should be okay to go.
All piercings hurt, but how bad depends on your tolerance to pain. Usually people relate the nostril piercing to being like getting an upper cartilage piercing since the tissue is the same. Generally with the nostril though, your eyes will water and the piercing itself tends to sting a lot more. Some people do sneeze shortly after being pierced, but not everyone does. Just relax and you should be fine.
I have my nostril pierced with a 16g CBR. I think I'm one of the few people who prefer to have a CBR over a stud of any sort in my nostril. Most girls that I pierce usually get pink, a diamond or their birthstone. Be sure to pick something you really like though, because you aren't supposed to change the jewelry for 3 months.
Be sure to take good care of your piercing and never be afraid to go to your piercer with questions or concerns, a good piercer should and will answer all your questions and take the time to make sure you understand what's going on. Good luck to you.

Got mine pierced in NY and they were very good. It didn't hurt alot, but it bled alot. I'm anemic so that's why it bled. I got a platinum w/a diamond stone.
Make sure you follow the directions on cleaning. The salt water rinse was the best. It helped close the hole around the stud. Make sure you get them to curl the stud. It won't slip out easily and you won't have a stud sticking out your nose and will have no need for a backing.

I live in NY, I have mine done. It really doesn't hurt that bad. I had mine done with a gun, it was cheaper and faster. I got a gold ball. Just make sure you clean it well with liquid anti-bacterial soap and this stuff called Bactein. It doesn't sting or burn.
