yes they do but we all at one time or another find ourselves doing this because we cant understand why things go wrong or happen bad around us . we cant imagine how God can just stand by allowing such things . we dont understand that he loves us so much that he gives us freedom to win or fail or look to him .hes like a parent with arms held out begging us to walk to his arms but wont come get us unless we ask and belieave . we fall and get up and sometimes run crying in other direction but God never gives up or goes away . hes always thare watching and waiting until we get strong enough to make that walk on our own free will. i was shown that God is real at very early age and i still find myself thinking that for a short second when i fall down but i realize after remembering that special gift he gave me that i can never really belieave he dosent exist after being shown clearly. after watching my kids being born i just cant belieave that God didnt have a hand in that . the animals the beauty the ocean the feelings of a spring breaze these should be enough but for some they need much more .this saddens God because he wants faith . at 9 years old God showed and answerd my request as follows[ if you exist why are you allowing this termol in my life ] . i was pure of heart and he had mercy on me and gave me a undeniable sign that i cant judge any way but of God .

93% of members of the National Academy of Sciences do not believe in a god. To be elected to the Academy you have to be respected by your peers as one of the nation's leading scientists. So these people are no fools.

No. The fool says in his heart, "I should be able to surf in a hurricane." I know because I met him. I don't know if he's still alive, but he's at least badly mangled... again... because a fool doesn't learn, does he?

No, just the opposite, as you're obviously well aware of:

"The fool hath said in his heart, 'There is no God.'"

If he's a naturally foolish believer, then yes. Plenty of people who weren't fools believed in God. Plenty who weren't didn't.
