Oatmeal will not go bad. It is nothing more than rolled oats, there is nothing to go bad. The only reason to ever throw it out is if it gets wet it will mold, or bugs. I have never seen either happen though it is possible.

Naw, it won't hurt you.. I'm not sure how great it will taste is it's really old, but I say if it's under a year go for it.
Knowing is half the battle.

If it's over 6 months, I say toss it in the trash. Otherwise, as long as it's not opened, it should be ok.

well it depends on how old expired it is.Well for me 6 months maximum otherwise it is not healthy.
