Yes, should be no problem....just be careful with the caloric restrictions. You do not cut out things you need like vitamins and nutrients. Remember, you are still growing. Think between 2 and 3 lbs a week with the weight loss, This fits into your goal schedule.

Yes, you can lose up to about 16 lbs in a month in a healthy manner, but slower is better (2 lbs a week is recommended, but not to exceed 4 lbs lost in a week) to increase the chances of you keeping it off down the road. HOWEVER, you are not overweight and losing 15 lbs may put you at an unattractively and unhealthily thin state. I'm 5'6" and I won't go lower than 135 because I look too thin below that (like I've been ill).

1000 cals a day is too low...bump it up to at least 1500...anything under 1200 should have a doctor's recommendation and monitoring (especially at your age).

Two miles a day is a nice run but be careful of your joints and back. Wear good shoes, and shoot for exercising about an hour a day which will likely be longer than it takes you to run 2 miles. The longer you exercise (doesn't have to be running) the more calories you burn. An hour a day, 5 days a week is a good goal for weightloss and then you can cut it back to 3 or 4 days a week to maintain that weight loss (assuming you don't go back to unhealthy eating habits).

Good luck!

Probably. But that's really an unhealthily low number of calories to eat. It may not even be sustainable - your body may go into "starvation mode" and start hoarding calories. Or you may find some other bad health side effects like headaches and dizziness. A pound = 3500 calories. To meet your 15 pound weight loss goal by Christmas, which is 74 days away, you'd need to burn off/eliminate about 700 calories per day. To lose 10 pounds, you'd need to burn off/eliminate about 400 calories per day. The claim on the calculator at the site listed below is that a 150 pound woman running a mile burns 98 calories, and if she runs 2 miles she burns up 196 calories. So if you can manage to run two miles instead of one, you'll only need to eliminate about 200 calories a day from your diet to lose ten pounds - that's only about two slices of bread or toast per day. If you can stand to run two miles per day and change your diet just a little - lower it the 200 calories per day and perhaps concentrate on eating a really sensible diet with plenty of produce, reduce fats, concentrate on complex carbohydrates instead of simple ones - your weight loss should be less painful to achieve and more sustainable to keep once you get there. Regardless of which goal you meet, I'll bet you look great already. 150 pounds really isn't bad for a woman who's 5'8".

First of all please don't go on a fad diet. . . the weight will come off easily but then you'll gain the weight again soon. What you need to do is exersize daily-around half an hour to an hours worth and remember you only start burning fat after half an hour of exersize, any exersize less than half an hour is just burning glucose.

Then you need to start eating less-some people like three small meals a day or you can have 5-6 even smaller meals if you snack a lot. But try not to snack on unhealthy options-go for fruit or celery. If you want do allow yourself a treat every now and again. Good Luck!

I found the book to be very informative and easy to read.

I've lost 17 pounds in 12 days, I'm just concerned that I'm losing too much weight, too quickly. I will admit I haven't followed the guide exactly. I'm not sticking perfectly to the listed foods and meal plans (but mostly) and doing very little exercise, but the weight keeps flying off.

It clearly works and if I'd followed it exactly I think it would scare the living daylights out of me because of the amount that I'd lose. So thanks again for the information. I've never purchased anything like this before because they are usually full of trash, but 3WD has been a pleasant surprise.

The most important thing is to drink water, lots of it, it is recommended to drink at least 8 glasses a day , i know this could be hard so try you best , but this is the key to get rid of the grease in you body., you can eat meat, chicken or tuna fish but keep all sugars, bread, pasta, pizza, cakes, rice, and SODAS out.
doing that im not sure you can lose 20 but i guarantee 10

You shouldn't eat less than 1200 calories in a day...and should target weight loss at 1 or 2 pounds a week if you want to keep it off. You may also want to see if you really need to lose weight or if you just need to firm up. You don't sound to be overweight. Drink lots of water.....and get at least 30 min of cardio everyday, weight training will also help you burn quicker. (though it could increase your weight slightly as muscle weighs more than fat) But, muscle burns fat.
Good Luck.

according to the CDC, your weight is perfectly healthy for your height. My advice, eat healthy, exercise, and get lots of rest. But for goodness sake, don't think you have to look like an anorexic model.
