Yes. Pre-Zoroastrian magi persecuted and denied Zoroaster. Priests and scholars attacked Jesus and denied He was the Messiah. Pagan leaders and priests attacked Muhammad and denied His concept of monotheism. They even tried to kill Him and exterminate all His followers. Muslim mullahs excecuted the Bab and denied He was the Mahdi. They also denied Baha'u'llah and had Him exiled. They are always barriers to God.
This is mentioned in Baha'u'llah's book, the Kitab-i-Iqan (Book of Certitude) as one of the reasons why Prophets and Messengers of God are always rejected when they first appear. Even now, many Christian clerics condemn Baha'u'llah as false, just as the Pharisees condemned Jesus based on Biblical literalism and man-made theology.

Religion teach you how to live like a good human being and the priests are the teachers. They have nothing to do between God and human beings. They are not the barriers. God is there in everywhere and in everyone.

If you think a priest can be a barrier to God, you have to free your mind, and stop limiting God. God is all around us, and inside us. How can a leader or a teacher ever get God out of us, or from around us?

Religion is a big business for Priests so obviously they would not let go their control over masses. They have monopolised the God so that ordinary mortals can not approach God directly.

mutually as under no circumstances meaning to chop back the seriousness of the subject, the proportion of clergy in any faith engaged in "sinful" acts consisting of pedophilia is extra or less 7-10% watching the area and the time (as in era of historic previous) the acts have been committed. i'm an atheist, a member of SNAP (Survivors community of those Abused with the help of clergymen), save on with this situation very heavily, have validated against clergy abuse and can say with authority that "ninety%" is an outrageous misstatement and does no longer something to guard the harmless.

Religion will always stay as a barrier to mankind along with it's priest. In Revelation it states to get out of her my people if you do not want to share with her in her sins, this is babylon the great.

Yes. Definitely. Organised religion is an attempt by men to keep God within their boundaries. It shifts the object of worship from God to the religion itself.
