How can I get footage currently on VHS-C tapes to my hard drive?

I have some old VHS-C tapes with family footage on it. That camcorder is broken. How can I get the footage off the tapes and to my hard drive (or a CD/DVD)? Is there a commercial product or company that does it?

Many local companies, the kind you leave your tapes with for a few days, perform this service. Check your yellow pages, and also check their references, to make sure they do good work and will return the tapes.
