What would be the purpose in letting in those who accept "Jesus" and letting the rest burn? I don't see how an omniscient being could be so petty.

Good question. All I know for sure is that it's Christmas in Heaven each and every day.

Other than that, haven't you noticed that God is a little wacko?

Heaven is for spirit creatures what earth is for human creatures.
The Bible does not teach that all good people go to heaven nor does it teach a fiery place of eternal torment.
The Bible teaches that a limited number go to heaven to serve as kings and priests with Christ over the earth.
The remainder of obedient mankind,including all those resurrected from the dead will have the exciting prospect of eternal life on a paradise earth.(Ps.37:9-11,29:Pr.2:21;
Rev.14:1-4)

Once again: Heaven is nearness to God. Hell is remoteness from God. Heaven is not a place, it is a state of being. The "afterlife" is the next stage in our eternal progression towards God. It is not a static place where everyone sits on clouds and plays harps. It is a spiritual realm where we continually grow and progress nearer to God. THe question should be: What is physical existence for? Our physical lives are here to prepare us for the world that is to come. We are like babies in a womb, developing the virtues and qualities that will be needed to progress in the next realm.

Actually its not His choice for anyone to burn. Its their choice to refuse the love of God. Heaven is many things, but one thing is the Throne of God so to speak. But eventually the family of God will return to Earth and this will be our Eternal Home. Of course we will go back and forth to the Kingdom and different planets and Galaxies and who knows what else. Their may be other planets out there that could be populated by God's family.

Heaven is a pretend country club for Jesus loving freaks who condemn others.

Those that do that are not real christians . They use Jesus like un umbrella to cover their defects . But , we have to look for and love the real Jesus`followers , that are plenty arround us . Maybe we don`t notice them , cause they don`t stay in front of the others , don`t speak so much of them , but simply do their life-jobs (or reach the goals God gave to them) , and unconditionally help others . They pass through humiliation , sorrows , despise , misunderstanding , but they don`t complain . They are " the salt of earth " as is told . As for the others... " Why call me God and not do what I say ? "
However, it isn`t our job to judge them , but to simply know they exist .
As for heaven...it really exists , for good ! Didn`t you ever feel it in your soul?

Heaven is for ANYONE who accepts that Jesus is God's Son. He came to die for everyone as a sacrifce for YOUR sins. God gives EVERYONE the free choice of whether to accept Him.

God isn't so petty. Heaven probably doesn't exist: when you die you are most likely born again until you reach illumination and oneness with God.
