need more info to help stall in neutral too. start and stalls unless you touch the gas? if so try replaceing idle air control motor depending on what kind of van you have?give some more info so we can answer better

It might be your carburator is not getting the right amount of fuel or it's old and needs to be replaced.I have the same problem and that's what the mechanic told me.However I am still driving it.Talk to your mechanic or take it to the shop and have it checked to be sure it's not leaking somewhere under the car.That would be a dangerous situation.Good luck

OK first lets go cheap way out replace the fuel filter

Turn the idle adjust screw in a couple turns.
