But, i cant afford to do both, and i really want my teeth straightned back up (had braces before, and didnt wear retainer, i will this time) can i tell him i want the braces put on first and after they come off i will worry about the wisdom teeth.

If you are not confident with what this orthodontist is saying then get a second opinion. Most orthodontists offer a free consultation. If there are no other options you need your wisdom teeth remove, then get them removed and get on a payment plan with an orthodontist. Some also offer no down payment or you might can try and get a loan through a finance company. I wish you the best of luck.

First he needs to take out your WISDOM teeth. Then he will be able to do whatever he wants. Braces cost a fortune, but without your wisdom teeth you wont be smart enough to care. Just kidding. but its sure smart on his part.

this almost happened to me.. its smart to get your wisdom teeth pulled first because when the teeth come in they will move your other teeth and that will cause them to become messed up again. so pull the wisdoms first.. before they mess up your teeth more.. and get the top pulled right before it tears through your gums.. that will help keep the teeth aligned before anything happens..

your dentist should have told you to remove all problem teeth before you got your first braces, do this first
