Above I posted 50 archealogical finds that CONFIRM events and people in the the Bible.

Ok doesn't PROVE it is true, I will give you that. But it is evidence non the less. All theories are based on evidence. In my opinion Creationism has just as much confirming evidence as Evolution. In my opinion the Bible is just as provable as not.

These finds are never highly publicized or main stream.

So Christians my question is to you . . . . don't you agree we should continue to be a light and be careful not to get rapped up in the proving our God exists? HE DOES. The confirmations and examples are all around us. Lets just be the shining light. Its not our job to prove anything, its our job to be a witness, a good one, not a bitter one.

To you that don't believe . . . . . . . God bless you and at least most of you I have exchanged thoughts with are trying to live life to the best they can . . without God.

The only time I use information of this type is when I'm talking with someone that is determined the Bible is not true.
I'm strictly trying to plant a seed of doubt, concerning their thoughts, and then let the Holy Spirit take it from there.
I agree we are to spend our time spreading the message of God and the Love of Jesus Christ, not defending GOD.

I do not doubt that certain historical accounts in the bible are based on real events. I do not doubt the archaeological evidence of those events. I do not, however, buy into the mythological and supernatural tales that have developed around those events.

Regarding creationism, opinion is not evidence. Saying something is too complicated to have evolved, such as the eye, is an opinion, not evidence.

Thank you for acknowledging that we are trying to lead good lives. I know many Christians are also trying to as well.

Unfortunately that's your opinion and not and oxford or Cambridge don - go get multiple PHD's and have a few research papers written in some well established journals and then maybe people will take your opinion more seriously - then again that is just my opinion

Tomb paintings, city ruins, and ancient mythology do not prove the value of moral teachings or the existence of God.
