Is it asking too much of people to clean the snow and ice from their cars ?????

I dont know how many times i had to dodge sheets of ice flying off the top of peoples cars...

It cost too much money to fix a windshield damaged because some one was too lazy to clear ice from their cars.

Stop being lazy !!!

i suppose u havent tried to totally clean the top of a van off of snow lately have u? i havent had any windshield damage from 'slabs' breaking off of cars, but i'm also about 3 lengths away from them also. ice isnt anywhere near as hard as rocks, and if a windsheild can take a hit or two from a small stone without shattering, ice will pose no higher threat. now if u were on a motorcycle, that changes the whole game, and i would extend this to 6 lengths.
i would have more of a problem with those tryin to drive thru a 'peep hole' with a snowy windshield.

It's one thing when there's just a layer of snow on the roof or rear window - that can be somewhat understandable It's largely a fact of life that snow will blow off of roofs of cars and out of pickup beds. The real problem is the people who are too lazy to remove any snow from their cars and essentially just have a small area of the windshield clear to "see" through while driving.

Oh, you know it is never to much to hope or believe someone should understand safety and respect of another, we live in a different generation, and this is not good to what ever percentage that exists, we can not change anyone, we have change our-self, you could try flyer's, or call TV news or a poster at store, of something that may be affective, a puppy, angel, happy face, or sad face because they don't know what they are doing. If we had ice here we would be dead, we have an influx of Iraq's, and Iranians they are on cell phones, and in the past few years all the teens are on the road, it like the escape from N.Y. movie. You maybe someone who can make a difference, and I am sure you will make the right decision.

in one aspect it is lazy not to clean the snow ice off your car. on the other hand when it takes 2 hours to chip the ice off the whole car most people don't have that kind of time in the AM. I know personally I am in a hurry in the AM.
