The blood is trickling from his inside. The blood is red and liquid, not black or tarry. The area is very sensitive. I am _extremely_ broke - is there anything I can do before I try to take him to the 24/7 emergency vet (who charges more than I make in a week).

No, he needs emergency care right away. Maybe they will help you with a payment plan.

You can try to clean up the area with a squirt bottle. Do not rub, blot dry. But I am guessing you will need to get the dog to the vet. They can usually make a payment arrangement with you.

run him over to the vet before it gets seriously worse. you'll feel better after you take him. then you'll feel sick again when you get the bill. ask if you could set some kind of a payment plan with the vet, and show him the dogs butt.just do something quickly and get off of the computer, it's your dog for god's sake

Sorry you need the emergency vet. I know they charge like crazy but when you need them you need them. Go right now because if you don't your poor baby may bleed to death.

No, there is nothing else you can do, and it may be a huge emergency, in case he has internal bleeding or if he has eaten rat poison or sth, he needs treatment ASAP! I know how these things may be costly, but this is a matter of life and death.
