his cough is alot looser, is this right? hes coughing less but its ALOT looser, should i be worried?

"Looser" as you call it, would be a GOOD thing. It means his phlegm is breaking up.

amoxycillin is good for cold. but for cough you can give amydramine or piriton( it is a pediadric drops) or toroset syrup which is also called ondansetron oral solution usp. u an give slightly hot milk mixed with pepper and a pinch of turmeric powder.better to give lukewarm water to him. amoxycillin will also be given addition to that.
the reason the cough will stop only when the cold will decreases.
during this time it is better to avoid sweets and cool drinks and prefer ed to eat hot foods.

A loose cough is good. It means that it is breaking up.

No, you want it to be loose so that he coughs up all the gunk in his lungs. If it stayed in his lungs he could get pneumonia.

we had the same situation and our son became allergic to amoxillin , we use Tusnell now and is great. for regular colds.
i thing amoxillin is too strong for childs.
