I think they imagine westerners might be impressed by such garbage because they (supposedly) would equate Christianity with honesty. Some mugs have actually fallen for it.

They sale it on the Internet, do a Yahoo search (how scammers get my email address) you can get into YouTub look for the same thing in fact I'm going to do that right now, did you see dateline tonight? it was all about your question and I'm sure it will show up on YouTube very soon. and most definitely in Yahoo search, very good Question the people that do get scammed are often to embarrassed to report this type of crime, this type of scam prays on the poor and lonely and they know this, not only should you know what your kids are doing on the computer so should adults around you that could fall into this category.

To be fair, the only religions that are truly full of super-concentrated stupid are suicide cults and Scientology. But, onward we plunge:

Really, they're not banking so much on the Christian aspect of it so much as they're banking on the general greed of the American public. The Christian end of it comes in because they're operating under the assumption that the majority of Americans are Christians, and they're hoping to play off of any sympathies therein.

The scammers will use any tactic that they think will help them scam someone.

Its not that Christians are inherently more gullible... its that the Christians who are gullible are more likely to trust someone that sounds like a Christian.

they probably succeed once in a while, and they are very creative.
however, I can not recommend that you return them a response tinged with Muslim references (self exploding ones) since they will use your response for some of their scams.

Probably. Look, anybody who is reading this:
DO NOT SEND YOUR HARD-EARNED MONEY TO ANY OF THEM, WHETHER YOU ARE CHRISTIAN OR NOT;

God does not send out beggers!!! God would prefer you to buy your children something rather than blow your money on who knows what?

DON'T DO IT!!
