Um, I would take a guess at 25%. This obviously depends on what age the girl is when she gets married. Seems to me that people are getting married younger now and a lot of the young people who are getting married were virgins. Try putting something in google (like virgin statistics) and see what comes up.
I would say the southern states are the ones that have the youngest marriages...people in the northern part (NY, Boston, Chicago) probably marry older and aren't virgins for the most part.

What distinction does it make? some women only guard their virginity because of the fact they do no longer prefer to be bothered. What one does no longer know approximately intercourse won't harm you..maximum individuals think of all women are promiscuous in u.s.. A virgin is a uncommon breed....i know a woman in her 30's nevertheless a virgin, the medical doctors mentioned, you're appealing why would you shop your self. The foreign places medical doctors mentioned 'that's widely used in different international places".Why holiday.....Do you think of virgin's male or female bypass around with a demonstration on their backs, hay i'm a virgin.....If I did shop my virginity for marriage,he greater valuable be a virgin too. It takes 2 to sacrifice.....Why provide it too a guy or woman that has been there, shall we come across jointly, bypass the place no guy or woman has long previous in the past.....

Due to the number of girls who would lie, I don't think any statistics would be accurate on this, but I am sure the percentage is quite small. Less than 10%.

i asked somethimg like this earlier today as it seemed to me that a high proportion of US females were advising everyone that the answer to their problems lay in total abstinence until marriage. I was a little puzzled by this as here in the Uk you never hear this any more, not even from old biddies. The cultures seem to me to be very different in this area at least.
My question received around 10 responses - only one admitted to having been a virgin at marriage. Another felt she was a 'sinner' for not waiting and several more advised waiting for the right one. Only one person mentioned 'fun' in relation to sex.
I find this cultural diversity intriguing.

Seriously, you should take statistics from abstinence clubs in different states, but you won't find accurate info if you surf the net or even if you ask a question here.

I don't think there are statistics on that. In America, that would be considered extremely rude to ask. Remember, in exit polling after elections the most common answer is "none of your business".
