If you are asking which is best to do at the start of the gym sessions you're already doing .......... Start with a gentle jog to warm up and then move onto weights. I jog for about 30-45mins and a good pace and then do my weight training as after another 30-60mins of weights, my muscles are a tad 'heavy' and running isn't as easy! But saying that, if you can, also finish with 5-10mins of gentle running.

Doing Cardio first will affect how much weight you lift. Lifting weights first will have little to no impact on your cardio.

You should do it the way you enjoy better, if you tend to blow one or the other off when starting with a certain type of activity, then do it the other way.

Either way, the impact of doing one first will not significantly affect a casual exerciser, it is probably more important for athletes, etc.

My coach makes us lift weights some mornings and then in the afternoon we run, but there is a huge break in between. If i am working out by myself thhen i'd rather run or jog first then lift weights. Sometimes after lifting weights my muscles feel so weak and shaky.

I would say that it depends on your goals and on the intensity of your cardio exercise.
Regardless of which one you do first, you will use up some of the glycogen stored in your muscles (fuel in your muscles). In addition to that, if your cardio exercise is fairly intense, let's say 6-7 on the scale of 10, then you'll have a build up of lactic acid in your muscles as well. Lactic acid is a by-product of anaerobic activity in your muscles, this is essentially that stuff that makes your muscles 'burn' and makes your legs wobbly.
So, you need to choose what is more important to you. If you are just simply trying to loose weight, then do whichever allows you to last longer when jogging, that would be jogging first. If you are trying to build muscle mass, do weight lifting first.

Good luck.

Depends if you are after weight loss or toning up.

If its for weight loss I would say the jogging. Weight lifting only tones the muscles and puts the weight ON.

Hope I helped

Weight lifting is best to perform first if you are trying to build muscle because you want to save energy so you can do more reps

Intimate, loving, ahem…horizontal physical exercise with ones (legal) partner has been proven as one of the most effective ways to move those calories. So get going without running shoes!
