Her diet is mostly white bread, rice or corn meal eaten together with chicken, beef or fish & veggies. I try not to use too much oil & when i do its mostly polyunsaturated vegetable oil. Like most kids her age, she eats alot of crisps, biscuits and fizzy drinks.

sounds like her diet. can you give us any examples of what she eats? And we'll try to help you out.
Is it possible to at least cut out some of the crisps & biscuits. My son only has one pack a day & he's quite happy with that, in fact we're lucky cos he actually prefers apples & probably eats about 5 a day. Also could you maybe try to replace fizzy drinks with spring water (even the flavoured ones are better).Try these couple of things for a start- you don't want to be too drastic too soon. Good Luck.

You don't give the age of your daughter, which makes it a little harder of a question, however:

Have you had her checked for diabetes? Diabetes can, in some people, cause particularly bad breath, body odor and strong odor in eliminations. I have a dear friend that had horrendous breath and it would seem he already had body odor even right after coming out of the shower. He got a new job that required a complete physical and it turned out he was diabetic. Once the diabetes was under control, he no longer suffered from the odor problems.

There are also many conditions that affect the liver and/or kidneys that can cause the strong urine and stool odors.

A systemic infection could also be a cause for all of these symptoms.

The best thing to do would be to take your daughter in for a complete examination by either her pediatrician or a pediatric internal medicine practitioner or to a gastroenterologist, depending upon her age.

I hope you can get to the source of the matter quickly so that she feels better and you can have peace of mind.

Wow, that could be numerous things including disorders of the digestive system.
Most of us here on yahoo are not doctors and can't examine her. So, it would be hard for us to say what she could have. I'm not saying this rudely, just being honest.
You really need to have her checked by a doctor. I hope she will be fine. Good luck!

I agree, sounds like diet and drink.

First thing that comes to my mind is too much sugar....I'm not blaming you as a parent it happens right?

Try getting her to drink more water or herbal teas...like peppermint (without sugar).
Introduce more fibre into her diet like mix some healthy cereal into her regular cereal or add chick peas into vegetarian chili. When making pasta, make half of the pasta whole wheat...mix it into the white pasta and pour sauce over it.
Try more raw veggies and fruit.
You may be surprised at the immediate results.

Good luck...I hope that the problem is that simple to 'fix'.

I agree that her diet is a possible culprit.

If it isn't, you may want to schedule a visit with the doctor.
