No, you don't need to be 18 to buy condoms. 14 is a little young to be having sex, though! I'm glad that you want to be prepared "just in case", but make sure that your *brain* is making the decision to have sex, not your hormones.

Also, FYI, condoms need to be stored properly to be effective. A lot of guys keep one in their wallet, but that's actually a really BAD place to keep them. They should be stored at room temperature (not too hot, not too cold), and someplace where they're not going to be damaged. Also, stay away from "Gold Coin" and other foil-wrapped ones, since opening those can cause you to accidentally put a hole in the condom, which is obviously not a good idea!

in the uk theres no age limit on buying them, and you can get them free in loads of places like sexual health clinics and stuff. dunno about otha countries.
