Your questions is the root of spirituality. Science can answer so much but the more that is discovered the more questions arise. The more we discover, the more complex and more difficult to answer are the questions. At what point was there nothing and how can something come from nothing. People grasp what helps them comprehend and then hold fast to that be it right or wrong.....your question can not be answered here.

This will take a little bit of supernaturalness to explain...
God always was. There was nothing before Him to create Him because, again, He always was. Before He created the universe He existed in a state of perfection, just like He is in now, just existing in the love created by the many aspects of God.
Scientifically speaking, everything needs a cause. Look it up, its true. If you ask the questions back far enough you'll find that eventually something had to be the first to do the moving. That is where the "Unmoved Mover" comes in. God is the only thing that could have created things as He is eternal and infinite. Imagine there is a ball on a level surface in a vacuum. It will stay there until something moves it, right? The same is with the universe. The Eternal God is the one who started the ball of the universe rolling, and thats why we're here today.

But even if we think that someone else created God, this still implies the existence of an ultimate cause So actually no one objects to the idea of some ultimate cause.
He was doing the same thing as He is doing now: enjoying. Is not like He was unemployed, and with great effort He created the Universe. No, He is always performing beautiful pastimes of enjoyment. The creation is just insignificant activity for Him.

God is uncreated. God IS the creator and not a creature himself. God is eternal and unending. He is the beginning and the end. Our human comprehension has difficulty with these ideas because we are finite. We want to have easy packaged answers. That is why the concept of God, the infinite Creator, is so fearful to many people. We want to feel that we are somehow in control. Control is a myth. We have very little control in this life. We need help and guidance from an early age and should never stop learning and seeking for the truth. Even if that truth is unpopular or uncomfortable to our world view.

First ask yourself what is a sound. Your response maybe something you hear right? Okay if a tree millions of miles away from civilization falls, does it make a sound? No because no one is there to hear anything right. What I mean is we are limited in knowledge. We describe things the best we can in a definitive language. We try to explain what we don't know. God says we can't understand earthly things much less heavenly things. Just know tht he created you with love. Oh and keep asking questions because soon you will run out of doubt and that is what he wants you to do.

God is a newcomer that was created by humans, billions of years after the big bang, billions of years after the sun was formed, earth formed, became a place teeming with life, mammals appeared, some evolved into primates, into hominids, into homo sapience.
that last species, with it's over-sized brain and endless curiosity, started creating non existent, fictitious entities, believing in the "real" existence of these fictions, and changing these fictitious entities whenever the old versions became too simple to believe in. about 3500 years ago, the modifications in the form of the fictitious super entities led to the latest version, a single, faceless Super God. but even this last version has slowly been going the way of all the previous fictitious gods.

The Bible doesn't come right uot and tell us, however, the evidence that is there tells us that He is so awesome, that we could safely assume that He is self creating. I realize that this is a difficult concept, but then, He is the Creator of everything seen and not seen isn't He?

Think about it, God says He is, "I am who I am". Well what is an "I am"? An "I am" just "is"!
BTW, are you conscious? Do you have free will? What is consciousness? Can it be measured? If it cannot, isn't it immaterial? God is simply an immaterial being of eternal consciousness. In the immaterial dimension of consciousness, time is meaningless.
