I have a theory and want some one out there to prove me wrong/right..ok..UK Question..

I think Police are well Paid Traffic Wardens, cos all they do is drive around looking to dish out tickets, and not catch REAL crooks.

Does this make any sense?

Totally! I got a ticket the other morning going to work, 4:30 AM, pretty much the only car on the road, no one around me, clear condition's, fairly straight expressway, paying attention, trying to go from point A to point B and get off the road. Since I was slightly twenty mile's an hour over the posted 55 it's considered wreckless driving in my state. On my way home from work everyday I'm unfortuantely in the regular rush hour traffic. During that commute you can't imagine some of the idiotic, assinine, dangerous thing's I see people doing. One thing you can say is though is that they're not speeding. Quite a few of the worst driver's on the road's are people who will never get a speeding ticket or any ticket for that matter. It's too easy to point a radar gun at a car and say X mile's an hour over the posted speed is X amount of dollar's. Actually, instead of warden's I think more of them as revenue collector's. It's all about dollar's not sense.

I can't remember the last time a police officer at my station issued a parking ticket. We've got better things to do.

I think that the police have far better things to do than worry about parking, especially with the recent gun crimes. I imagine they're only too pleased to get shot of parking duties!
BTW, is it me, or did you waste your time saying "UK Question".....if you get my drift......! ! !
