imo the laws need to be changed to whoever files for divorce without proof of a partners mental illness, felony criminal behaviour, or infedelity .. should automatically forfeit everything involved in the marriage including money, children, living quarters, ect ... and should walk away empty handed ... then maybe people would think twice before making such a serious life choice and it would put an end to married persons putting a spouse through hell just because theyre bored or decide they want to sleep around with everyone ... anyone filing for divorce should automatically have to pay for a dna test on any kids involved also that came from the marriage and any that turn out to be not of the guy then the woman automatically pays for the dna testing plus loses the divorce case ...

In my state, the state pays for a paternity test if the woman or child is receiving any amount of government support (welfare, food stamps, WIC). Unless the father does not contest paternity, then it is assumed he is the father.

If someone says you are the father of their child and tries to sue for child support, and you pay for DNA testing and prove that you are not the father, You can probably take the mother to small claims court to recoup your financial losses.

Of course, it would probably be much cheaper to either stop having sex or buy (and use) a box of condoms.

Well, if it is or isnt the guys kid, a man shouldn't have a problem doing a paternity test anyhow. If he does, that makes him even less of a man, and thats from a woman's standpoint.

Wrap it, double bag it, whatever, and problems like this wont occur.

---because shes the one who gave birth, and already has the proof-the birth cert and baby. also hospital records...

---because the honor system doesnt work, thats been proven.

---because there is no disproving anything, only the truth they seek.

---because there are no "fathers rights" at court
there are no "mothers rights" at court
there are ONLY THE CHILDS RIGHTS... and the laws reflect and defend their rights.

--- because the the childs needs comes before ALL of us, you, her, me and anyone else... period.

---because its the right thing to do, to make sure the father is indeed the father of said baby, not someone else pay for it. why would a father not want to know?

---because the state and federal government are TIRED of people not paying for their children... so they passed stronger laws.

if you are angry at the system, you just thank all of the deadbeats for forcing the government to make stronger laws. give 'em a good 'ol pat on the back, 'thanks man'....

Seems to me if you used a condom in the first place, it wouldn't be an issue.

You play, you pay.
