Pre-cooked ham is great. Pop it in a pot with a little bit of water, fresh green beans and red potatoes. Steam it, covered, over gentle heat until warmed thru & the vegetables are done. Comfort food at its finest!
Add: I never bake ham, the ones I buy are too small and would dry out. Are there no instructions on the package?

What I normally do with ham is put it in a 9 X 13 baker with a lid (or foil) I usually put it fat side up (so the juices run down and further season the ham) and then I pour honey over the top. I usually just cover the top of the ham with honey and then spread it with a spatula all over the exposed parts. I probably use between 3/4 and 1 cup of honey on it. It is not an exact science for me as I go by instinct as to how much to use but those should do you good depending on how big your ham is. Also..you don't HAVE to use honey..everyone I cook for tho likes that flavor on it...*smile*
I set the oven at 350 and usually cook it about an hour. Check it after a half hour or so and spoon the juices back over the top of it. Remember when you are heating this ham that is pretty much all you are doing as it is already cooked...you shouldn't need more than an hour to heat it up.
You can put veggies in it also...They might need a wee bit longer to cook ...you can test done-ness by spearing them with a fork-or a taste test is always good too!...lol...
Hope this helps!

For a pre cooked ham, I would cook veggies seperate.
Remember, the ham has been cooked, all you are doing is warming it up.
Just stick it in the over, uncovered at 325 degrees for 12-15 minutes per pound.
If you want a nice glaze to put on it I would do: Brown Mustard, Brown Sugar, and Honey - mix all together in a bowl and rub over the top of the ham.
Add some pineapple slices, too!
Good luck!

Pre-cooked ham should be heated at 325 degrees for 20 minutes per pound. That should give you plenty of time to cook the potatoes and carrots with it.
My husband likes to glaze ham with jelly. He just spreads his favorite fruit jelly on the surface for the final 20 minutes of the heating.
I like to use an orange glaze (also spread on ham for the final 20 minutes in the oven).
Orange Glaze
In a medium saucepan combine 2 teaspoons finely shredded orange peel (I always grate mine fresh, but you can use the dried), 1 cup orange juice, 1/2 cup packed brown sugar, 4 teaspoons cornstarch, and 1-1/2 teaspoons dry mustard. Cook and stir over medium heat until thickened and bubbly. Cook and stir for 2 minutes more.

I would put a brown sugar and orange juice glaze over it, bake with potatoes (sweet would be best) and any other veggie you like at 350-375 for an hour. Baste with the glaze every 20 minutes. Let the ham sit about 15 minutes before slicing.

It depends on the weight as to how long you cook it. I normally mix pineapple juice and orange juice with a little bit of maple syrup and pour it over the ham and then sprinkle it with brown sugar, pineapple slices and cherries. You can put potatoes and carrots in it! It just depends on what kind of taste you are going for, there really are no limits!!

Buy a canned ham and have your butcher at the supermarket slice it into thicker "dinner slices".
You can then microwave them or fry them or bake them.
I like to nuke a slice and put it between a buttered english muffin.
A five pound canned ham will give you a lot of slices.
Or you could wrap it in foil and put it in a crock pot.
You could also google and get quite a bit of suggestions.
When do we eat?
