Can you explain the difference between right and wrong and how that is defined? When do we know if what is right is right and what is wrong is wrong, when do we punish for it or when do we call it a disease?

Right and wrong is just another way of saying Good and evil these ideas don't exist in reality, at least not outside of the mind that believes in them. They are only judgments passed by the individual from their own unique perspective. What one person sees as bad or evil may seem to be the only logical thing to do from some other perspective. The ideas of both good and evil are point of view specific. This is why people like bush and bin laden are either loved or hated. Bush is seen as good by people who share his fear based thought system. Those who have a compassionate concern for all of mankind often see him as evil.

Bin laden is much the same. He is a villain in much of the western world, but he is somewhat of a celebrated pop star on the Middle East. There are T-shirt shops that sell items with his picture as though he was Jesus. It all depends on your point of view or perspective.

To sum it all up good is the name we give to people who do things that we think we like.

Evil is the name we give to people who do the things that we don’t like.

This is of course based solely on our particular point of view.

Love and blessings

Conscience is the sense of right and wrong. It would be called a disease when one continues the action for which one has been corrected on repeatedly...an inability to understand the consequences for one's actions. You have probably heard the definition of insanity - Doing the same thing over and over again but expecting a different outcome.

Reality = Consciousness. (( the Avoidance of Pain. ))

RIGHT feels good / WRONG feels bad
((( to truly appreciate the beauty of things one must appreciate the ugly as well )))

Qualities and values we live up to.
(( non-intrusive yet all inclusive ))

"prevent suffering"

disease = a Distorted Perception of Reality.

It cannot be defined in modern terms but observed.

If we cause any pain or suffering to others it is going to lead to pain and suffering for us. That is the natural law of cause and effect or karma. If we decide that "wrong" causes pain and "right" causes joy then we just have to act, speak and live with mindfullness of what hurts others and us. My list of what hurts me is: lies, stealing, abuse, betrayal and denial (in all its big and little forms). The things that cause me joy are: honesty, giving, caring, trust and acceptance. When you can work out your list of what hurts you and what causes you joy, then you have got your own list of personal and moral wrong and right, for you. How you want others to be with you is exactly how you can be yourself.
