What is an appropriate gift for a christening? we're thinking a saving's bond.?

I think that's a very appropriate gift for a Christening. If I remember correctly, both of my daughters received quite a few for their Christenings as gifts.

Yes, I think a savings bond is an excellent idea.

that is very thoughtfull actually and sometimes in the future ,the baby will have some cash.otherwise ,my country has a saying that if you offer a horse as a gift,nobody should check the horse's crap meaning accept it the way it is.
