Use a milder shampoo and make sure it says in the instructions mild enough for everyday use.
Make sure all the shampoo and conditioner is washed out before drying your hair as this can make it look greasy. Use the shower to wash it out as soap and bubble bath and stuff in your bath makes your hair greasy. If you dont have a shower make sure you wash your hair before using soap or putting smellys in the bath.
Also avoid using hairspray, gel and styling products on your hair as this makes it greasy as well.
Also avoid touching or fiddling with your hair as this makes it greasy as dirt collects on it.
Washing your hair every day won't make your hair greasy directly but if you wash it too often with strong shampoo it can damage it.
These things should help.
Good luck!

Different people react differently.
For some, yes, washing your hair can make your scalp produce oil faster. This can be dependant some on which shampoo is used. Thats one reason they label shampoos for oily, normal or dry hair. The oily version will reduce the effect on scalp oil production.
Some people can wash thier hair 5 times daily for weeks... skip a day and look almost like they just washed it.
Some people's oil production is sensitive to hair lenght. Mine for example if kept very short seems to not produce much oil at all and can go 2 days between washings. If I let it grow out some I have to wash it twice a day.

Yes! The more you overwash any part of your body, scalp, face, whereever, it will get greasier quicker! I am multiracial and I've never washed my hair every day on a regular basis.
It will help your hair use its natural oils and condition itself better - but if you have straighter hair, you can't go as long w/o washing. I'd give you two days at the max
If you have curly hair, you dont necessarily have to wash your hair with shampoo. If you do, you can wait up to 3-4 days w/o washing because it takes longer for hair to get greasier on curly/frizzy hair.
Hope that helps

many people have different hair types,
and if your hair is greasy you could shampoo and condition your hair one day, then the next only shampoo.
or you could be using too much conditioner, so, common sense solution: use less.
if you wash it every other day it will not stay nicer for longer.

Thinking biologically, it can't get greasy more quickly due to washing - unless you are stimulating the follicles a lot, which you could also do by brushing. Perhaps you just have greasy hair.

Different types of hair. Different types of shampoo.. If it gets oily daily, you can purchase shampoo for oily hair and wash often.. I have the Britney Spears haircut so I wash and wear.. Lot's of guys have these.. lol.

Take a shower every day but only wash it whenever you feel like your hair is messed up.

No. It just sounds like you have oily hair. Try a clarifying conditioner a couple times a week. Also use a ligt conditioner.

you should wash it every other day because it will damage your hair, unless it instructs you on the back to use daily
