Vaccinations should NEVER be started under 7 weeks and 8-9 is better. Starting at 6 weeks interfers with natural immunity..it makes the vaccination worthless, it negates and can cause immunity problems and future adverse reactions with vacciantions. It is essentially adding chemicals into the puppies body unnecassarily.
Vaccinaes should be administered as follows:
8-9 weeks distemper/parvo/canine hepatitis/adenovirus-2
12-14 weeks same as above
16-18 weeks same as above
20 weeks or older rabies vacciantion
a year from the date of last vacciantion a booster is done. Then vacciantions are given every 3 years after (rabies may need to be done more often in compliance iwth state laws which is unfortunate because of over vacciantion issues)

Lepto, Parainfluenza, Bordatella (kennel cough) & lymes are not recommended for all dogs. They should only be administered to dogs taht are at high risk of exposure.

Coronavirus, giardia should NOT be give to ANY dog..they are NOT recommended vacciantions.

This is the current vaccination protocol as set by the AAHA/AVMA, all 27 vet schools, stuides conducted by a mahor drug company, Dr. Jean Dodds, Dr. Ron Schultz and several universities. If possible get a copy of the 2006 Whole Dog Journal. It has an excellant article on vacciantions.
