.I used to wake up in the morning with a stiff neck and feeling tired I didn't know why. Turned out I tossed and turned all night long and never really get a full nights sleep. I started to use Soma Watson and it was great! No more stiff necks and feeling tired all day long. Soma is a muscle relaxant used to relieve the pain and stiffness of muscle spasms and discomfort due to strain and sprain. I buy soma online at NextDaySoma.Net. US licensed and located no prior Rx required to order soma. I hope this Info helps and you feel better dear.

I would try taking Advil, as you may have some inflammation that Tylenol cannot help. Since you have already taken Tylenol, I would wait a few hours before taking the Advil.

When you take the Advil, wait about 20 to 30 minutes and then take a hot shower allowing the water to hit the sore spot in your neck.

There are several heat patches out on the market today that you can place on your neck to keep constant heat to soothe the muscles.

Some people feel more relief with cold packs, I find that cold makes the pain worse and heat brings comfort.

If it isn't better within a week, I would go see the doc for some muscle relaxers or a stronger pain killer.

A bit of a massage may help loosen the muscles as well. Just make sure whoever does it uses a lotion or oil. Warmed in the microwave, this can be very therapeutic. Hope you feel better soon.

Muscles can have knots (trigger points) that make them tight which in turn put pressure on nerves and other things.
Molasses - a couple of swigs or Bananas 1 or 2 - both contain magnesium and potassium for muscles.
Try working with the principles taught in The Trigger Point Therapy Workbook by Davies.
I use a chiropractor and massage therapist with it

A hot-pack of some sort, such as a towel soaked with hot water and rolled up. I would suggest a gentle massage, but sometimes that makes the neck muscles twinge even harder. Or maybe you could try a sports cream rubbed in- gently.

Good luck!

When I was going to physical therapy they put ice cold packs from the freezer on my neck... for about 15 minutes then heat...it helped me

also they taught me to sit straight then to stretch your neck take the right arm over the top of your head and your hand will be near your ear....gently pull your head to the right and hold repeat the other side...........also put the palm of your hand against your forehead gently push back and hold a few seconds as well as on the back of the head and push forward gently and hold.....stay sitting straight.....it stretches the muscles

hope this might help....
