Wild Rose Petal, Rose Hip and Lavender Vinegar- From Peter Zambri, co-chef, Sookie Harbour House, Sookie, British Columbia
½ cups wild rose petals, tightly packed
½ cups rose hips (Optional,Rose hip meansRose fruits)
5 flowering sprigs lavender
1-½ cups white wine vinegar (or rice vinegar)
Place the rose petals, rose hips and lavender sprigs in a 1-pint jar. Warm the vinegar over low heat, being careful not to bring it to a boil. Pour the warm vinegar over the flowers and hips. This should cover all the contents. Seal the lid. Let sit for 24 hours, unrefrigerated. Once the jar is open, keep it refrigerated. Makes 1-¾ cups.

Herbal dishes of Chhattisgarh, India. 94. Harshringar Ke Gulkand.
Harishringar is a popular ornamental herb in Chhattisgarh. It is planted in home gardens for its beautiful flowers. Its scientific name is Nyctanthes arbor-tristis. The traditional healers of Chhattisgarh are aware of medicinal properties and uses of Harshringar. Harshringar Ke Gulkand in prepared from flower petals of this herb. The flowers hold a reputed position as a medicinal part in reference literatures related to different systems of medicine in India. According to Ayurveda, flowers is given in excessive diuresis and in spleen enlargement. According to Unani system of medicine, flowers are stomachic, carminative, astringent to bowels, lessen inflammation, tonic to hair. The traditional healers of Chhattisgarh recommend this sweet preparation specially to the patients having heart troubles. It is a promising heart tonic. I have observed the use of Gulkand in almost all parts of Chhattisgarh particularly in Chhattisgarh Plains.
Material Required : Harshringar Petals, Shakkar (Sugar)
Method of Preparation : The petals are collected and double quantity of sugar is added. The mixture is kept under open sky in moonlight upto sixty days. After this duration, Gulkand (Petal syrup) is consider suitable for use. In another method, the healers boil the mixture after adding water. The thick solution is kept in same manner under open sky.
In general, the healers suggest the patients to take a teaspoonful of Gulkand twice a day as medicine.
INSTEAD OF THE FLOWER MENTIONED ABOVE ; YOU CAN USE ROSE PETALS .THEY ARE EQUALLY POPULAR.

I think the easiest way would be to grind the petals/fruit/vegetables down into a paste. Drain off any excess liquid and then add something slightly abrasive like sugar or salt (easy to wash off afterwards).

Obviously, you'll need some water, and you're going to have the vegetables and rose petals crushed into a liquidy, mushy substance. I'm no expert, you know...

finely ground pecan shells might be good, Maybe something that adds moisturizing effect and hydrates, I'd check the ingredients of some jars at the store to get ideas.
