Mormons believe that Adam was God. Mormons taught up into the late 1970's that the black man was a damaged soul and was giving black skin as punishment. The Mormon church is one of the most profitable churchs in the world with estimations of over a billion dollar a year instutiion. Mormon believe the words of an ex convict Joseph Smith, and they believe there are 3 levels in heaven and they believe that every human on earth can become a God. And so on and so forth

The respect J Smith and the Book of Mormon as well as the Bible.
But if you study their belief system, as I have, they are not what you would exactly call Christian although both they and most people believe they are.

I had a Morman friend and remember him telling me that they are required to spread their faith for the first year, that's when you see them riding around on bikes going from door to door.

Suggest if you want to find out about the Mormon Church you ask your friend to explain their Religious Belief System to you. This way you will be getting proper information from one who knows as there are many people who spread erroneous information because they think they know but in reality don't.

Mormon beliefs are pretty crazy, and clearly non scriptural. But then most "Christian" beliefs are also. Ask them for a "book of Mormon" and read it.
