I've noticed I get a breakout when I use J&J's astringent. What else should I use?

Astringents dry the skin, so the the skin responds with more oil production that can clog pores, etc. and cause breakouts.

Astringents are simply not recommended for breakout problems.

Right now my skin is perfectly clear, for the first time in 3 years. It's been about 9 weeks and all my acne is gone. It is such a great feeling to wake up with clear skin.

Try Seabreeze. They have a sensitive skin formula that I really like. Also, don't forget to moisturize after cleaning your face - something light and water based (no oil based products).
