If Christians consider gambling a sin, why do Catholics host bingo games every Friday night?

Self-restraint and moderation are two traits we learn in Judaism so if one gambles in moderation and doesn't become addicted, it is not a sin.

Well, the jews can gamble as well as anyone. I would consider "haggling" at the village market over the price of a goat and 3 sacks of corn meal a form of gambling. It is gambling that you will also get some goats milk as well with your 5,000,000,000 rubles.
