I'm Christian and I don't feel happy when I hear a Muslim or the faith-'Islam' getting bashed (note: this word seems vague in this context-but I'm supposing it's refering to the people and the religion getting/being abused regardless of whatever form or fashion). I see Muslims as my brothers. Tracing back to the initial stages of formation - Muslims were the descendants of 'Ishmael' and Christians were the descendants of 'Israel' (aka Jacob). Both Ishmael and Israel being half brothers, both having the same father, Abraham.

So, if there are Christians out there that are happy or who enjoy in the pleasure of 'bashing-Islam', it's just like allowing and accepting your own biological brothers/sisters to undergo a 'bashing'. Although I may not genetically be of Israel's descendants, my belief (via missionaries) sees us as a 'family'. :-)

Pointing out the what makes Islam a false religion is not bashing it's telling the truth, the truth tends to hurt. Now, if someone is being vulgar for the sake of being insulting, that is wrong.

Do I feel happy, NO, why feel happy for people who are lost. God isn't happy for them, that's why Christ died on the cross so, neither should we be happy.
To be politically correct and keep the truth quiet is turning our backs on God and not worth it.

Why put the bashing all on Christians?

Muslims always bash Christianity ALL the time by saying we're polytheistic, when we're not, and that the Bible (God's ONE and only Word) is corrupt, when it isn't. Yet, the rest of the world seems to think it's ok to bash Christians, I think double-standards are insulting but, it's a fact of life that won't stop. Christians live with this double-edged fact everyday but we don't whine about it.

that is not any longer a evaluation of books - what got here about a bazillion years in the past is of no longer a lot effect immediately. that is how those doctrines are practiced immediately. On 9-16-2010 a Buddhist guy and his son were shot to demise in Thailand through Islamic terrorists. similar day in Mogadishu, Somalia Islamic military despatched mortars right into a authorities complicated, killing a minimum of three. 8 people were murdered in 3 different incidents that day on the fingers of Islamissts. have not seen a seen a Baptist demise Squad later on, have you ever? seen any Methodist rockets landing in a Catholic church at the moment? How about radicalized Quakers flying airplanes into authorities homes? Any Methodists parking explosive weighted down SUVs on large apple streets lately? So end comparing the books themselves and have a glance on the persons that study them.

Why only refer to Christians? I am not a Christian and I am not a Muslims. But it is upsetting it can go this far. Islam does not promote violence, and unfortunatley we see it differently because the media are very specific in what they show the world. Those who kill in the name of Islam, are most definately not real Muslims.

No. I don't wish to see anybody bashed for any reason, nor do I wish to see name calling, stereotyping, generalizations. Particularly I dislike questions that are designed to push buttons, create anger, or rally a group together to collectively bash another group. There is a lot of that at Y/A.

Then again in Matthew 24:11-12.

NOT AT ALL! I do not believe that people should be treated in that manner and there are Muslims all over this world. Why would anyone want to treat others in an abusive way? We are to treat others as we want to be treated. In America we all have a right to be able to worship as we please. This forum should be the same way. Have a great Lord's Day!

Bashing is not the Christian way.
Those people calling themselves christian and enjoying a good bashing of something/someone are basically screaming out: "I'm not really christian!"

Bashing is a term used when someone is disagreeing or isn't being PC.
