The latest was realizing what a control freak I am and how life tends to work out better when I don't try to interfere with the natural process as much. Easier said than done, though.
The other was the same as Redman. I was asked by the instructor in front of my entire sociology class - what type of marriage I had. It took me so off guard I lied and said it was better than what it really was. That made me question whether the life I was leading was really mine and really what I wanted for myself. Surprise, surprise, I'm divorced now.

The last moment of clarity I had was about 7 months ago, when I realized that I don't know a damn thing. It just took 26 years for me to realize it.

The last "moment of clarity" I had was back in November, in West Virginia. Since then, most of my life has been a "fog", or just reacting to life....not being proactive. Those "moments of clarity" are precious, but few and far between, unfortunately. Glad you had one of those today....what a "high!"
