All God says is that He is, "I am". An "I am" just is. Well what does that mean? First, an I am is immaterial, just like your consciousness. An I am is eternal. An I am is being, or consciousness. An I am is an immaterial being of eternal consciousness. An I am is not material, thus your definitions are wrong. You are looking in the wrong place. Look into your soul to find God.

His main "Home" (the third heaven, as Paul called it- to differentiate between the air, the starry "sky" and YHVH's home) is the middle "star" in the "Sword" of "Orion". Having said that, let me also say that by His Spirit, He is present everywhere. I guess He is between your first two choices, maybe both, maybe either. (My Latin is weak, and I'm not certain whether your choices are mutually exclusive or not--- Even if they are in normal parlance, the Almighty might be an exception.)

He's omniverous! He ate out of my trash can one too many times and the Game Warden had to shoot him with a tranquilizer dart. That bastard! I should sell his dried gallbladder to some Chinese Herbalist.
