married... i mean i really dont think i will ever get married. I see what everyone else goes through and dont really ever seeing myself in a realtionship that will lead to marriage. Anyone else feel that way?

you will feel this way until you meet someone you want to spend your life with then you will think of nothing but marriage --- it happened to me --- in high school i was never going to get married --- i married at 20 --- 30 years and 3 kids later

Everyone is different in the things they want, just because the people around you are getting married or going through a bad marriage doesn't mean that you will have to suffer the same fate. I don't want kids but all of my friends do everyone is different so do feel like your not normal because I'm sure there a many people out there that dont want to get married either and I'm one of them too

I kinda feel the same as u. There's so many examples of marriages going wrong, spouses cheating on each other, divorce, what the kids go through etc etc. It's made me warey of marriage, it's gotten me more or less convinced that my husband will most definately cheat on me!! But I guess i'll give it a go and see what happens cos there's also all the examples of how hapy people are with their married lives.

Nope, I never want to get married either. I want kids, and maybe a long-term boyfriend, but unless someone really amazing asks me, I'd rather not be legally tied to anyone. A lot of people feel the same way that you do.

at this point, more than half the US feels that way, so if the majority is the determiner of "normal" then I guess the answer is yes, its "normal".
personally I don't think the government has any busness telling us who we love or don't love, are committed to or aren't.. its certainly screwing it up as it does with everything..
as far as having a solid relationship goes, its up to each of us to create that, if we want it, with skills like: how to know ourselves, how to find others who want the same thing, how to set good boudaries, how to communicate..

I don't know what "normal" is. What does normal mean? I don't want to get married and I don't really care if anybody thinks I'm not normal. To each his own. If you don't feel like getting married then don't do it.

Once in awhile, right in the middle of an ordinary life, love gives us a fairy tale. By then, you eventually want to be married.
