Dont panic, get the job offer first, then you can tell them the intended house move, see if you can get the training first or at least get through the induction, then call your nearer force and ask if they have a similar scheme.
The Met is unlikely to pay your travel to work costs but if the training is free and possible then go for it.

The objective of an interview is to convince the employer that you will be able to fulfill the organizational needs and fit into the company culture. Certain steps taken by you will definitely help you create a better impression on your interviewer. Update your resume , prepare for the interview questions , research the company and dress appropriately for the job . More details and information at http://www.precv.com/

I would attend the interview and be honest with them. Explain your moving and they may well suggest you apply to the force in your new area. I hope you do well and thank you for a british citizen for wanting to be in our Police Force.

You should consider this question when you get an offer and passed your probation. if you become permanent, every thins is easier to discuss.

I doubt transferring is an option, they would want to spend the money for you just to transfer...
