the schools are aware of it, most do try and "police" it but its not easy as there is a too broad defination of what sexual abuse is when children of assorted ages are involved. what is acceptable in kindergarten thru 2sd grade - the hugs the children give each other - becomes unacceptable sexual abuse when it is found in older grades. my sons personal experience with this may help explain what i mean : in kindergarten he had to pee, went into the bathroom and dropped his pants. the little kid (same age-5) next to him bent over to pull his up and saw my sons hiney at eye level , leaned over and took a bite ! why? no reason. they called me , made a big fuss over "sexual abuse" worried that i would press charges, wanted to send my son for pysch counciling in case he was tramatized, wanted to expel- not suspend the "biter" too much made of a small incident. kid was asked why ? replied "i dont know" my son was asked what do you think should happen to eddie? " he's my friend, can i bite him back?" while i agree that in higher grades there are problems with real sexual abuse i believe it is more because the parents allow it , by not teaching morals, by not setting limits. the schools cannot enforce "no touching rules" if the parents dont get involved to "teach" them first. open displays of affection do not belong in schools. if they were not allowed then there would be no tolerance of them and no chance of "forced, sexual, touching"

faculties have a accountability of care and would inform the appropriate government - i.e baby conserving centers and the police. All faculties ought to handle it the comparable way as defined above. If the college tries to cover it up that would have severe implications on the college. i'm a journalist and recently there grow to be a case in Australia the place the powerful tried to cover it up and now that's been found out they're finding out to purchase it huge time - being dragged for the duration of the criminal equipment and their photos on the front of all the considerable papers. If the college covers it up that's going to come lower back to chew those responsible - and that they gained't rejoice with it while a p.c.. of media and 15 cameraman are there to greet them outdoors their workplace.

Aware of it? It was happening back in the 1960's when I was in school, and I imagine teachers are as blind to it know as they were then, because it's a publicity nightmare. Good luck trying to get anyone to acknowledge it.

Yes, I have heard of cases of children 'sexually abusing' other children at school... i suppose it depends on what exactly the child did... Alot of children who touch other children inappropriately or display sexualised behaviour have often been sexually abused themselves.
