Definitely for 3d cousin, usually for 2nd cousin, and, believe it or not, a few states still allow marriage between first cousins. Yucky, to my way of thinking, but legal.

Yes in all states in the USA it is legal to marry your 3rd cousin. It is only 1st cousin and 2nd cousin that some states have made laws against it. Over half of the states in the USA allow 1st cousin marriage and even more allow 2nd cousin marriage.

Of course. The only cousin relationship that is illegal (and not even all the time) is first cousins, where the parents are siblings. If it's any further out that that it's not a problem. I'm in live with a guy who's technically my 2nd cousin.

Yes. The only cousins that can't marry are first cousins.

Yes, and infact, that is common in many cultures including almost all past cultures, so chances are you too come from a marriage between cousins! It's a bit icky though isn't it? But it won't cause your children to be 'special ed'.

Yes, it is.
But, if these people do get married. Lets just hope they don't have kids.

Probably it sounds kinky. If your cousin is blood related I would not take a chance in having children. They might end up in special ed.
