Have you tried putting up a cable run. I have one for my beagle. And she loves it. You can make your own for about 15.00. basicly all it is is a clothline. Then you get another cable with hooks that can slide back and forth on the clothline. Gives him alot more room to run depending on how long you make the cable that goes to his collor. Ours is about 50 foot long and the cable that we hook up to her is another 50 foot. If you do this you have to make sure she can't get tangled up in anything or go over anything that he could hang on. But you can't be letting her run free she's going to get hit and it is against the law for her to be running deer. You cannot use the excuse that you don't have time to walk her. You are responable for her. Get up a little early and take her. 30 minutes isn't that much time. But if you can't make the time find someone that can. It is a hard choice but you should make the choice for her not yourself. what is best for the dog. Good luck to you.

I would call the Dog Whisperer. But honestly some people are just being mean here. I'm telling you nicely, if you really dont have time for your dogs acctivities and you really care for the dog find her another owner, maybe a friend or someone who wont mind if you see her from time to time. Taking in an animal as a pet is no different than haing a child you just have to make sacrifices for the care and well being of the animal. I have 4 children at home and 3 dogs I also work so I know it seems as if theres never time but you have to MAKE time. She does sound if she has some discipline issues and honestly dogs are NOT happy unless properly trained and disciplined. If you are really devoted to your Dog try seriously talking to Cesar Millan. Just look up Dog Whisperer I understand he travels miles to rehabillitate animals and does quite wonderfully I might add. Good Luck!!!

she won't go nuts. she will get tired of going nuts. Trust me. I have been raising dogs for a long time. They all act ignorant at first. But pretty soon they just accept that is how it is. And don't just tie her to the fence and call it a day. Get her a nice doghouse and put a blanket and some hey in it. To stop the running off thing, take her someplace where there isn't alot of traffic and let her run. When she comes in the house when you call her, she gets a treat, When she doesn't you scold her. Like I said before, I raise pit bulls, which are naturally other dog aggressive. I have a full time job and my husband owns his own business. We have 3 grown dogs and 3 puppies and a 7 year old little boy. And we find time every day to walk at least one grown dog and one puppy. If it is hard for you to control her, try a harness. My biggest dog was 85 lbs. and the only way i could walk her was w/ a harness. Even if it is just for a 15 minute walk around the neighborhood, you will be amazed at how much her attitude changes. If we did not walk our dogs and give them ALOT of love they would kill each other. I am not sayin you do not love your dog, I am saying when you have a crazy dog you have to take extra measures to channel their wild craziness into good fun craziness.

would u like to be tied up?, I mean... if u can not give attention to your pet, give it to someone that will be able. Dont give a dog a miserable live. People every day abuse of every kind of animal in the world. Dont be part of it. Thats just nasty.

This my biggest pet peev (LOL "pet" peev.)

If you DO NOT have the proper time to train and give your pet attention.......GET RID OF IT .

Pets require alot of attention. Leaving a dog in a crate or leaving it tied up all the time is not the right thing to do.

I am sure that someone would graciously take you dog off your hands if you cannot give it the time and attention that it needs.
