Jeez, that's like asking why the sun rises in the east. Even if you do know the reason, you're still not going to be able to change anything!

If he says he's not ready for anything else right now, believe him. Don't ask him anything else and STEP AWAY from the wounded little bird. You're already way too attached to someone who's not available to you.

Well this guy doesn't want to be in a relationship right now, which is understandable seeing as how he just got out of one. Don't get emotionally involved though. He already said not yet, so either give it a little time and see how things go or get out there and play the field!

We all are creatures with feelings. Three faculties of human: will, knowledge, and emotion. It is worth to give him some time especially after a breakup. Give him a break. Cos if you really want to know if there is a chance between you two, you should first let him clear his mind. What if he still has feelings for his ex and is being with you? That wuld be very unfair to you and all. At this time, you should be around to comfort him. Be a friend. By this, you also have the privilege to really know him and not crush him alone. You yourself can then make sure if he is the one or not.

I think he needs time to get over his past relationship. Give him some space and respect his feelings. Tell him you'll be there if he needs some one to lean on. I think once he gets past his former relationship he may think of you as being a good friend who cared enough to be there for him. Ask him if he thinks there will ever be a chance that you two will get together. If he says no, it doesn't mean he can't change his m ind later.

Just continue being nice to him and dont ask him about his feelings for u just yet. If his heart opens up to u, he is yours. Boys are different than girls, they dont like being hunt. In the mean time, dont play with your own feelings on chances, so u wont get hurt if he were to go back to his ex or find love with other girl. Take your time. Love is aplenty..

Guys that get emotionally involved get thier live distroyed by dirty little cheating whores. So most of us tend to look at women like nothung more than a roll in the sheets.

any one can get emotionally involved-he just came out of an involvement, so give him a little room-be his friend for now, but let himknow you're interested in more when he's ready.

I think you answered your own question when you said he told you he wasn't ready for anything else right now. Give it time, if he sees you as desperate it will turn him off. Good luck

I agree actually, i think we are just wired that way...i think you should always protect your heart, never leave it open to be broken...i think that maybe you should put the question to him, i bet he would respect you for being honest with him about the way you feel... good luck.
