I think YES there should be a boyfriend at school age. If you don't then you sort of don't have any idea on what to do when you have your first date when your an adult.

that is good to have a boyfriend but before it u have to examin him properly if he is perfect for or so ? because to make thew friend ship is easy but to continuing it takes very care so my suggesion is that u have to just get the test of him/her if he passed u can...
