Isn't there always one child in the family that's more talented? More charismatic? More loving and caring to all His Brethren?
So, too, was Jesus!
He was just one of those Children of God who was a lot of things that you and I can only hope to get close to becoming!
Try to do just a few things He did first, before trying to equate yourself with Him!
Pax vobiscum, pax dominic!

Not since the fall have we been considered children of God. We are born with a sinful nature. Jesus had flesh from His mothers side, and God's nature from His fathers side. He came into the world to show us how to overcome our sinful nature. We do that by repenting of our sins, being baptized by immersion for the forgiveness of our sins, and recieving the Holy Ghost with the evidence of speaking in an unknown language. Then and only then are we called Children of God!

We are only the Children of God BY Faith in Christ Jesus! Galatians 3:26,27---For ye are all the children of God by Faith in Christ Jesus,
For as many of you as have been baptized into Christ, have put on Christ.
Yes, Jesus is the only BEGOTTEN Son of God.
The Godhead consists of :
God the Father
God the Son
God the Holy Spirit
There are three distinct masculine persons, but all of the ONE divine Nature, and that ONE nature is GOD! Deuteronomy 6:4

That's the thing, everyone is NOT a child of God just a creature made by God.
John 1:1 In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. 2 He was in the beginning with God. 3 All things were made through him, and without him was not any thing made that was made.
11 He came to his own, and his own people did not receive him. 12 But to all who did receive him, who believed in his name, he gave the right to become children of God, 13 who were born, not of blood nor of the will of the flesh nor of the will of man, but of God. 14 And the Word became flesh and dwelt among us, and we have seen his glory, glory as of the only Son from the Father, full of grace and truth.
Jesus was with God and being God's Son is the same as God and He came down so that all who would receive his teaching and believe on Him for salvation could become children of God. He had this to say to the hyper-religious people of his day who didn't believe Him.
John 8:42 Jesus said to them, "If God were your Father, you would love me, for I came from God and I am here. I came not of my own accord, but he sent me. 43 Why do you not understand what I say? It is because you cannot bear to hear my word. 44 You are of your father the devil, and your will is to do your father's desires. He was a murderer from the beginning, and has nothing to do with the truth, because there is no truth in him. When he lies, he speaks out of his own character, for he is a liar and the father of lies. 45 But because I tell the truth, you do not believe me.

we are children of god but Jesus is more special than us. without him, we can't be children of god because we will have sin in our hearts and we will just ignore god. jesus took away all our sins, remember?

He is the reason we are all reconciled to God. Adam and Eve sinned and were thrown out of the garden, so their status as "children of God" was mitigated, because of their sin. Jesus, being one with God, and therefore sinless and perfect for all his existence in Heaven and on Earth, is different in nature from Adam and Eve, and therefore from us.

Thats the christain god....which is wrong. No one knows waht god is really like. Eastern religions are have a better idea than western ones. We are all made from god, because god is the eternal energy of the universe. God is not a creator, there is no need 4 a creator since time is an illusion. God is everything. God is in the space between us. God is in the table in front of you. God is everything and everywhere and everyone
