I was at dennys with my friend. i thought our waiter was cute & when he came by our table my friend said to him my friend thinks ur cute. I was mad at first but it ended up that we switched numbers by the end of the night cuz he thought i was cute too. i went back to his work to eat a couple of days laterwith some friends (it was the second time i saw him) , he payed for my food, so when he went on his break to eat i told him to come sit next to me and he did...i would think he would be asking questions to get to know me since it was the first time that i was actually talking to him, but he just ate fast and answered my questions and den went back to work,he kept talkin about himself &kind of braggin about himself like that hes a boxer, he just got offered a manager position at his other job, &that he spend 130 bux on alchohol today &he payed for his friends, he seems like a good guy but why was he so busy talkin about himself that he didnt bother to ask anythingggg about me?

he might be just nervous..
and possibly he was trying to impress you by bragging about himself ... he probably didnt even realise that he was bragging...
and maybe, he thought that if he asked you too many questions, you might get scared off...
go out with him a few more times... once you get to know him a bit better, you'll find out what kind of guy he really is..
that way, you can really be sure about who the guy is interested in... you or himself...
but, at least, give him a chance first...

From a guys point of view, he is trying to impress you. Guys think if they brag about themselves, how great they are this will impress the girl, they are dead wrong. I learned that lesson the hard way. In high school to pick up girls I use to brag that I could bench press over 325 lbs. I would brag that I had the national teenage bench press record at the 132 lbs weight class. I would carry a magazine around with me and show them my name listed as number #1 on the top 100 list. I would tell them I plan to go to the olympics some day, etc. What was their response? " I don't know is that a lot weight? Your kind of short, you don't look strong." What will impress a guys friends, won't impress a girl.
Bragging about his boxing probally impresses all his guy friends, but he has failed to learn this will not work with women.
It wasn't until college that I learned becoming interested in a womens hobbies is a better approach then having a big ego.

You caught him on his break so u two weren't together long enough to find out for sure what he is like.If he was just offered that manager job then u have to agree that is something to tell people about.So my advise to u is to go on a regular date and if he doesn't stop talking about himself then u know what to do.Don't date him again because he is to full of himself. You really have nothing to lose to go out with him and everything to gain.Good luck

Looks can be decieving. This guy is not interested in you, but in himself. Move on. You can do better than a manager at Dennys.

He likes you. But he Loves himself. I wouldn't mind you stayin' aways from this Guy. I don't feel good about things, around him. You'd play 2nd fiddle, to him. Whatz up with dat?
