Yes there is....Cable sends you a certain amount of power to drive 2 or 3 TVs and when you divide that power equally between more than 3 TVs your signal level drops into the NOISE level.....

Best way to fix that is to install a DISTRIBUTION AMP at the Main Input line into your home.....

A distribution amp does not Jack up the RF Voltage, it provides several output connections to drive several TVs at the same level the Cable company provides. This maintains the Cable signal integrity......A POWER Amplifier cannot do this.....

every time you split that cable you lose decibels of signal a 2 way cost 4 db a 3 way or 4 way cost 7 db if you have 10 db coming into your house the more you split beyond 0 db the poorer the picture quality if you have digital cable and split to many times b4 the box your picture will breakup amps are fine but if you have a garbage signal because of your homemade radio crap fittings all you are doing is creating more garbage by amping it and your picture will show it like the guy says you bring the video signal closer to the noise floor

Lutz, I had the comparable matters in the previous. i ultimately offered a firstclass sign amp that still had gold plated outputs. It worked on maximum channels, and there have been others that in simple terms did not artwork in any respect. I used it for awhile yet ultimately disconnected it by using fact the sci-fi channel replaced into one which it does not get. sturdy luck yet don't be shocked if there is not a answer. Video alerts could nicely be fussy. you are able to run a coax cable for the duration of the backyard and a wall, and it quite is all nice. The minute you coach it a splitter, it freaks out. -Kevin

No there should not be. I have a computer and TV attached in such a manner and it works fine. I also run 2 other TVs from a splitter and the signal is very good.

It depends on how many times the signal is split. Two or three splits shouldn't cause too much degradation, but more than that might. The cable company can boost the signal if necessary.
