if your temp is been high for 4 days you need to go to the doctor, it could be a sign something is seriously wrong!!!! Call in tomorrow and go to urgent care!... also continue to take tylenol every 6 to eight hour or advil every 4 to 6 your fever has gone on too long now to let it run its course... i tried that with a fever last christmas and what was only a flu turned into pneumonia because i waited soo long, drink plenty of fluids!

Go to bed and go to sleep, sweat it out with lots of blankets. Take 2000mg of Vitamin C per day. Drink as much 100% orange juice as you feel like. Make sure you keep clean with hot showers daily. Eat lots of really healthy, simple food - fresh fruit and veges, lean meat. See a doctor. Drink herbal tea (herbal tea is really good for you), especially rooiboos tea. There are even some tasty vanilla rooiboos teas around - these are really high in vit C and the heat will help. Drink as much water as you can stomach all the time.
Fevers suck. Hope you feel better.

A high temp calls for a doctor, especially this long. Be care full of dehydrating, that's a big worry of a fever. If you insist on staying home, try to keep taking aspirin and lots of water, keep warm and stay in bed.

I'm not a doctor, so I'd tell you to look up your symptoms on a trusted medical site like WebMD.com or call/see a doctor. You're in school, you should call/go into the college infirmary.
For fever they tell you to stay cool to try to lower your body's temperature, drink lots of fluids so you don't get dehydrated, and take Tylenol to lower the fever. Don't use ice. And definitely don't get under blankets to make your body warmer and try to sweat it out.

The high temp means your body is fighting off something!(homeostasis) you need to keep cool to bring down your temp until you see your Dr.... cool cloth on your forehead, & ice-pack or cool cloth under your arm pits. If your temp continues upward, your body will seziurer, take something for discomfort. never wait over 2-3 days with a high temp to see your Dr.
