l talk to india for free every day, not that l want to, just wish someone would blow up those effing call centres.

You can down load from the Internet a program called voip and other programs similar. Calls are free to land lines everywhere. You need a head set, buy a decent one, you get echos and voice delay normally its worse with a cheap head set. You will also need a cdt card No and cdt of 10 euro or the equivalent in Pounds. Ask for details and help from small computer shop, talking to somone direct will help you on your way, who knows he may even install the program for you if you buy the head set there. Alpha are quite cheap and so are onetel. Phone cards are also an option and so is email. But the best way is to use skype. Its free to download and the quality is superb. You can chat away for free for ages and it wont cost a penny - all you need is internet connection.

Hi. Alpha are good but ask yourself:

1) is it really that expensive?
2) How much of a change will it make if you change providers and is is worth the hassle?
