I think a ginger ale would be probably be best at a local super market. If you have a local Italian market or gourmet shop stop in and see what they have. I think the company that makes San Pellegrino sparkling water has a line that would go nice. If you want to go sweet you can always get some club soda, an Italian syrup and cream and make an Italian Soda.

to be frank, will soft drinks goes well pasta? hmm.. i hasnt try before but i guess iced lemon tea will be a "safer" choice. =)

try white dry wine like miret brut or red dry like bardolino traiano - sodas dont go with pasta!

i always pick root beer or Pepsi but if you need light pop pick sprite or Ginger ale
