Global warming seems to be believed by a lot of atheists even though it is verifiable with our own eyes. Its 10 degrees f outside right now. This is global warming, you can accept this? The Bible has stood up to more scrutiny than anything ever written in history. Its messages are verified by other works, yet you can not accept it. The fossel record disproves evolution. The expanding universe disproved the universe was always here theory. Whats it going to take for people to have as much faith in God as they have in some leftist scientists?

It was the beliefs of atheists that the universe was always in existance until Hubbel. He did his calculations and they did not work unless he modified the calculations for an expanding universe, then the big bang theory came into existance. Why do I know more about this crap than you do, and you believe it.

The pope told you so, then it must be true, he's your Heavenly father right? Just because he sold out, doesn't mean that I have to.

The strange thing is that scientists can not prove the Bible a myth everytime they try to they discover that what they are trying to prove myth is in fact Fact. I watch a lot of the discovery channel, and the history channel. It seems strange to me that people who sprout off about the Bible being a myth dont have any evidence to support it.

I've got news for you. You may not realise it, but your views are in the minority. Most religions would find your views as rather backward and outdated.
The official Catholic view is that global warming is real. Now, I don't know whether the Pope will take kindly to being called an atheist, but......

The Vatican has also accepted evolution as reality. And the heliocentric view of the Solar system (you should look that up - it's where the Earth orbits the Sun, not the other way around). Guess what? No-one in the Catholic Church had to stop believing in God because of any of these things. And do you know why? Because they listen to scientists. And they read up on things properly before they criticise them. You could do the same. They have strong views on moral and ethical issues, as they should, and in spiritual matters, as they should. They have priests and other clergy to preach morality and ethics, and they have real scientists to look at science things, and examine evidence properly, without distorting the results to meet their preconceptions. It was actually a French Catholic monk who first proposed the Big Bang theory.

"Its 10 degrees f outside right now. This is global warming, you can accept this"

once again, ONE DAY of weather wherever you are has NOTHING to do with global warming.

"The Bible has stood up to more scrutiny than anything ever written in history."

Oh please.

"The fossel record disproves evolution."

Do you get off on spouting nonsense?

"The expanding universe disproved the universe was always here theory"

Nobody theorized the universe as it is not "was always here"

Look, your whole bible is an origin myth. That is fine. But don't try and go corrupting science. That is when we will come down on you like a ton of bricks, and you will lose.

Wether we accept it or choose not too it doesnt make me, you or anybody else a bad person. I think one persons actions can mean more than any of the negative aspects of the world. People need something to beleive in, it keeps the status quo and stops us all from going mad and pondering the eternal question "why".

Evolution is also a fact of life, my personal beleif is that we didnt all just appear as by magic out of a rabbits hat although the concept is quite romantic and appealing to alot of people. Dont beleive you should have too jump through hoops to have faith in what you beleive, just do what you can as an individual, and that stands for every religion there has been or ever will be in the future. However this is only my point of view and I would never force it upon anybody else, as god gave us all a choice it is down to the individual how they choose to play the game of life.

Global warming only effects the ice caps were nobody lives - lol... you religious people really are great thinkers, aren't you?

We trust scientists because they never ask you to accept an argument from authority, to take it on faith, to believe them or you'll burn burn BURN!

They say, examine my evidence, if the theory is wrong, replace it with a better one. It helps itself grow with having these rules at the heart of it. Religion does not. That's why its been stagnating for centuries and only survives in areas of gross ignorance.

Polls have shown clearly the inverse correlation between education and religion.

*Transitional fossils? There are hundreds of thousands - ok look up Ambulocetis*

By your logic, global warming occurs every time the heater kicks on.

"...and heading into the weekend, partly sunny with a chance of global warming, increasing global warming with a chance of the wrath of God on Saturday, followed by the rending of garments and gnashing of teeth on Sunday."

There is no verification of the bible stories. There is some verification of historical events, but that is the same as with any historical novel. Science uses often repeated experiments to prove facts.

it is 10 degrees outside of your home, is that mean it is also 10 degrees out side of mind and the other people around the globe?

you are talking about global warming not your local weather.

go back to your bible and ask your self "WHY ITS CONTENT HAS BEEN CHANGED ALL THE TIME?"

I agree.

Next time you get sick, just pray for god to kill the evil demons invading your body. And I wouldn't turn up the heat... I just don't trust electrical engineering. Seems demonic to me. You'd be better of starting a little campfire in your kitchen. Hey, then you could cook your breakfast over the fire instead of using the devil- microwave!
