One of the more popular aspects of the Quran in these times concerns its comments on aspects of science that the Prophet and his people could not have known about.

There are numerous examples of such verses, such as the description of the formation of human life. The sperm of man is referred to as a 'mixture of liquids' (76:2). Other facts that are given in the Quran include the description of the formation of milk (16:66), the notion of orbits for the planets (21:33 and 36:40), and the description of the water cycle (15:22, 35:9 and more..

Does such scientific facts exists in Hindu books ? If anyone knows any, do feel free to share the knowledge and greatness of all religions.

I do not know the scientific facts and values and explained in Quran as I have not read anything in that.

In Hinduism our epics, Vedas, etc., tell so many facts and morals which no other religions scriptures tell. For instance Bhagwat Gita itself is like a big ocean and many of us are not able to understand it fully. This along contains everything and learned people make researches. I am not that much competent enough to explain those facts. Our GITA contains everything and one has to go through it fully.-

Copernicus suggested the earth was round. However according to hindu mythology, 'Varaha' and avatar of Lord Visnu resued earth that was round from drowning into and ocean (the ocean here does not depict the sea beds but the vast ocean of space. Astronomial studies were conculded in hindu mythology thousands of years ago. Those facts are not denied by any scientific studies. The so called ninth planet, which is visible only through a telescope was referred as 'Yam" in hindu mythology. Beyond this planet was the suggested door to hell from where as suggsted demons (comets) rose to destory the earth.

There are a hell lot of facts in the hindu and muslim books which cannot be denied scientifically. The onyl problem is while we study those books, we look at them just with a religious perspective. If we could scrutinize each and every aspect of the books and compare them with the knowledge database today, we would understand that those people were far ahead in technology. Another problem here is that we cannot digest the fact the our ancestors were so advanced with the technology and hence a bunch of few ignorants came up with the theories that aliens might have helped them out. here again in there theory they raise a technological mystery. How could our ancestors communicate with the aliens? Why have those aliens abandonned our planet all of a sudden?

We can stil find mysterious structures relating to almost all the cultures of the world standing tall. Ain't these structures a concrete proof that technology existed in those days?

:-)

The Vedas speak of what appears to have been a war using
flying craft and nuclear weapons long ago. There is in fact
a spot in the Gobi Desert where the sand has turned to glass, and a spot in California even, where rocks have melted. Both of these spots have no relation to our current times, and the phenomonen only occur during a nuclear blast.
Not being facetious, but how's that for scientific evidence behind something in a Holy Book?

lots of math got here from the middle East to the west throughout the time of their golden age (~eighth to 13th centuries A.D.). At one time they were on the optimum fringe of many medical discoveries. So it figures that the Qu'ran does contain some scientifically precise statements. It also includes many inaccuracies. and evidently there is not any data for the supernatural claims. "i can not comprehend why many islamic international locations are lagging behind in technology and mathematics" i'm highly particular they use an similar math. yet i'd agree fundamentalism and different elements have stifled innovation.

If you try to search for God through science, you will end up frustated. The fact that science is still struggling to discover the origin of our existence is ample proof of that. If we can not find our own history how on earth can we find our Allah. That proves the point that while science can do the discoveries which are materialistic, we need spiritual science to to give us the insight into our ownselves. God will come later.
I love your inquisitiveness and love for all the religions including Hinduism.
